SSX (Software AG Security eXtensions) Is Used for AMN Login Authentication
Administration of Adabas Analytics Collector MF Is Available
The existing config.env file in the /AdabasManager/config folder has been replaced by config.yaml to support additional parameters for configuring login authentication with SSX. For more information about SSX, see Enterprise Applications > Software AG Security eXtensions.
The purpose of each SSX parameter is documented as a comment in the config.yaml file.
With this change, AMN can share the same text-file user file (ssx_user) with Adabas and Natural products. For details, refer to the steps in Security eXtensions > SSX Tools > Creating Internal User Repository Files.
Note
SSX attempts to connect to all LDAP servers on the network, which may delay the
startup of the AMN client if some LDAP servers are unreachable. To reduce the delay,
either reduce the ldap:defaultTimeout parameter (for example, to
10 seconds) or configure a specific LDAP server in the
config.yaml file.
In this version, Source and Target Definitions can be configured for Adabas Analytics Collector MF.
Adabas environment parameters, such as TIMEZONE_OPTION, can be
added to or deleted from the ADABAS.INI file. This feature is
available from the menu in the left navigation
bar.
