Adabas Audit Data Viewer (AAV) is a web tool for auditors to view logs stored in connected databases. AAV allows you to filter data (based on specified search criteria) and display details of the data found.

AAV system consist of the following components:

• Backend
  The part of AAV that is not visible to the user of the web browser. The backend supports operations such as login or searching data, based on search criteria provided via the web client. The backend is a part of the mainframe environment where the Adabas database is available.

• Web client
  Frontend. The part of AAV that is visible to the user of a web browser after the user enters the AAV web address (URL).
