Adabas Service for Java provides the mainframe infrastructure to enable programs written in Java or converted to Java (for example converting Cobol to Java using Software AG’s Jopaz product), to issue Adabas calls to mainframe Adabas databases using the familiar and well-established Adabas link module ADALNK.
The following diagrams depict the components, and their respective programming languages, that are used to issue Adabas calls within a batch environment.
