Installation Prerequisites

This section describes the prerequisites for Adabas Fastpath Version 8.6.1.

Operating Systems

Adabas System Coordinator is compatible with the z/OS operating system environment only.

Software Prerequisites

Adabas

Adabas Fastpath can be used with:

  • any supported level of Adabas, or

  • any supported level of Adabas Cluster Services, or

  • any supported level of Adabas Parallel Services.

Adabas Auditing

When configured, Adabas Fastpath support for Adabas Auditing requires a minimum Adabas Auditing version of 2.3 SP2.

Adabas System Coordinator

Adabas Fastpath requires that you first install the Adabas System Coordinator. Refer to the Adabas System Coordinator documentation for more information.

When configured, Adabas Fastpath support for Adabas Auditing requires a minimum Adabas System Coordinator version of 8.6 SP1.

Natural

Natural is required by the Online Services application SYSAFP. Any supported level of Natural can be used.
