For the successful operation of this new release of Adabas Delta Save Facility, note the following requirements:
Adabas Version 8.6 or later is required.
Adabas Online System (AOS), either the demo version delivered with Adabas or the full version available as a selectable unit, is a prerequisite for using Adabas Delta Save Online Services. The load module AOSASM from the Adabas load library must be included in the link of the Natural nucleus.
Note
If you want to use online facilities to restart an interrupted online save operation
after a system or other user ABEND (see section Restarting an Interrupted Save Operation), you will
need to use the selectable unit AOS.
