Set up Cluster Node as Standalone Database
For whatever reason, here are the steps to generate a standalone database from a cluster node:
1. Shut down the database:
adastop dbid
2. Remove the cluster system file:
adadbm dbid=dbid remove_cluster_file
3. Delete all cluster related parameters such as cluster_port, cluster_url. For example:
adaini dbid=dbid delete topic=nucparms item=cluster_port
4. Start the database again:
adastart dbid
Note:
To access this database from a client application, the dbmapping file may also need to be adapted.
