Setting Tab sub-tabs

The Setting Tab has five sub-tabs:

  • Sync Behavior

Functions in the Sync Behavior sub-tab include:

  • Setting the target database to synchronize

  • Purging target tables and preserving the schema

  • Creating indexes before loading the data

  • Storing transaction logs on the target database

  • Verifying and analyzing updates

  • Recreating indexes on the target table

  • Creating a non-unique index for duplicate data (SQL Server)

  • Adding date/time column to target tables

  • Disabling logging

 

  • Data Types

Functions in the Data Types -sub-tab include:

  • Synchronizing blobs

  • Treating CHAR data types as CLOB

  • Treating CHAR data types as VARCHAR

  • Selecting the maximum numeric or decimal precision

 

  • Error Handling

Functions in the Error Handling sub-tab include:

  • Comparing source and target COUNT(*)

  • Retrying failed synchronizations

  • Creating non-unique indices for duplicate data

 

  • Metadata
