There is a list of prerequisites that must be complete before you install the CONNX Data Synchronization Tool, including configuration settings, CONNX settings, and installation of third-party applications.

Use the CONNX Configuration Manager to change the configuration settings. See the CONNX User Reference Guide, available online and on the CONNX CD-ROM,  for more information on the CONNX Configuration Manager, which is installed automatically when you install CONNX.

The list of prerequisites is as follows:

 

CONNX settings	Enable CONNX database catalog support (checked) Default Access = Read-only (unchecked) Default Access = None (unchecked) Allow pure passthrough queries (checked)
Third-party application	Microsoft .NET (provided on CONNX CD)

 

Note: All users must have administrator-level privileges.
