This document describes how to validate the installation.
Review the requirements in this section to validate the installation.
Verify that the Adabas SQL Gateway has been installed, configured, and verified at your site. Then complete the following steps:
Create a CDD that contains:
One or more user definitions;
One or more table definitions.
Copy the CDD to the machine on which the JDBC server is installed.
Create a data set name for the CDD defined on the machine on which the JDBC server is installed.
Start the JDBC server and ensure that it is accessible.
Complete the following steps for the following required modules.
Verify that the ConnecX Multiclient Subsystem (CXGSERV) has been installed and that files CXGPARMS, NSERVP and LEOPTS have been configured.
Verify that ConnecX Attachment Facility (CXGCICS) has been installed and that files CXGCIOPT, CXGIACF, and CXGCODE have been configured.
Verify that the ConnecX Connect Manager (CXGCONM) has been installed and that the CXGCODE has been configured. Be sure to link-edit ACECALL, as described in Installing CXGCONM.
Submit the CXGNSERV generated JCL job found in the
dsnhlq.CXGSERV.CNTL data set. This will start the
ConnecX Multiclient Subsystem.
Use the UQAD administration transaction to enable the ConnecX Attachment Facility.
Complete the following steps:
Run the UQAD START command to enable the ConnecX Attachment Facility. The following are sample results:

Ensure that CXGCICS is connected to the CXGSERV by running the UQAD INQUIRE CONFIG CXG command. The following are sample results:

Use the sample transaction UQT0 to connect to the
JDBC-Server and retrieve the current time and date information. The following
