Starting the CONNX CICS/Adabas TCP/IP Listener

The listener process waits for and verifies connections with client machines. To start the CONNX CICS/Adabas TCP/IP Listener:

1. After logging on to the CICS region, enter NX01 Start, and then press <Enter>.

The CONNX TCP/IP Listener starts.

2. Verify the start by typing CEMT INQ TA. Press <Enter>. The screen displays a list of transactions currently running. Verify that Tas(0000xxx) Tra(NX00) is listed as one of the transactions.
