CONNX Data Integration Suite 14.7.0 | Enterprise Planning Guide | CONNX Scenarios | Scenario 8: JDBC Servlet and Websphere

Scenario 8: JDBC Servlet and Websphere
This scenario shows both a JDBC servlet application using Websphere on HPUX and the JDBC/RCI server on Windows connecting to SQLServer on Windows and CISAM on AIX.
In this scenario, the internet browser is remotely connected to websphere. Websphere is directly connected to the CONNX JDBC Cleint through a Java Servlet. The CONNX client connects remotely to the CONNX JDBC/RCI Server. The CONNX Server has a direct connection to the CONNX Core. The CONNX Core is directly connected to the CDD and the CONNX License server and has remote connections to the CONNX Server and to an SQL Server.
IBM WebSphere is used as a Java Web Container to host a Java Servlet. The CONNX JDBC jar can communicate over the network to a CONNX JDBC/RCI server running on the same computer as a CONNX Client.
