The following features have been discontinued for Version 8.3.1:
The Adabas System Coordinator Versioning Tool is no longer necessary due to the improved upgrade capability provided with Version 8.3.1.
The Versioning Tool originally provided an alternative to a big bang implementation when, in previous versions, the client, daemon and database components of Adabas System Coordinator all had to be at the same version.
With Adabas System Coordinator version 8.3.1, the version compatibility between the components has been improved allowing a phased adoption of the new version without the additional complexity and overhead of the Versioning Tool.
