The following enhancements were made for Adabas Online System (AOS) 8.4 SP1.

• Adabas Online System has been enhanced to allow a user to specify a specific ISN for ISN reusage. For customers knowing where their reusable ISNs (ISNs previously deleted) reside, they can now quickly set the rotating ISN pointer to the specific ISN. For further details, please refer to Modifying File Parameters in section Maintaining Files.

• In a cluster environment Adabas Online System now displays the new parameters CLUPUBLPROT and CLUWORK1CACHE in both the Display Parameters as well as the Modify Parameters screens. For further details, please refer to Displaying or Modifying Parameters in section Monitoring Adabas Sessions.

• Adabas Online System now displays information about WORK1 and Buffer flush counters supplied to System Status for the cluster environment, as well as new counters for PLOG and WORK1 different blocks for all environments. For further details, please refer to Reviewing System Status in section Monitoring Interval Utilization.

• For a cluster environment, selecting WORK Status (option W) on the Interval Utilization menu now displays new WORK Part 1B information. For further details, please refer to Reviewing Work Status in section Monitoring Interval Utilization.

• Choosing Cache Statistics (option C) on the Cluster Usage menu displays the Cache Statistics menu, which now has the addition of "Work cache blocks" to display All Cache Blocks. For further details, please refer to Cache Statistics in section Monitoring Cluster Usage.
