The following new features have been added to or modified in Version 8.6 of Adabas Manager:
Adabas Manager Version 8.6 supports Adabas Auditing. It provides you with the functions required to perform the administration tasks necessary for Adabas Auditing operations
Adabas Manager Version 8.6 supports the administration of online mainframe kernels within Entire Net-Work administration.
Adabas Manager 8.6 supports administration of parameters used by Adabas Encryption for Linux.
Adabas Manager Version 8.6 has a new home page, including a link to the Adabas Auditing functions.
Adabas Manager Version 8.6 includes the Adabas Manager Runtime Service. This is required to administer the Adabas Audit Server, and runs on the default port 4990.
The previous configuration files adaHost_<uid>.config and netHost_<uid>.config have been replaced by a single file host_<uid>.config. The two old files are automatically combined into the new file when you upgrade from Adabas Manager Version 8.5 to Version 8.6.
