Software AG Products 2.4.1 | Reference Guide | Declaration Command | options | AUTODBID

AUTODBID
This option allows for connecting the @ADADCL statement to a specific database no matter of the default database at execution time. This option may be used if the application needs to access more than one database, or if the logical file number in Predict is different from the physical file number in the specified database.
The AUTODBID keyword will cause Adabas Pre-Compiler to automatically find which database the file belongs to in the Predict definition and take the database ID from the database record. If the file belongs to more than one database and @OPTIONS DBID is not used, Adabas Pre-Compiler will ignore it and give a warning.
