This document describes error codes issued by Adabas UES components and listed in other Adabas error messages.
The following table describes the error codes that might be produced by the Entire Conversion Service (ECS) component of Adabas UES code.

| 13 | Null repeat count detected |
| 14 | Data to be translated does not conform to the layout buffer |
| 15 | Send buffer length is invalid |
| 16 | TS or CVBU had already been initialized |
| 18 | Null length value specified |
| 19 | Repeat count/index value must be at least 2 digits long |
| 20 | ts_build_lb called before ts_alloc_lb was called |
| 21 | Element length exceeds the maximum |
| 22 | Error in floating point convert |
| 23 | Underflow or overflow in floating point conversion |
| 24 | TS routines called out of sequence |
| 25 | Error reading ASCII-EBCDIC mod file |
| 26 | Error opening ASCII-EBCDIC mod file |
| 27 | Syntax error in ASCII-EBCDIC mod file |
| 28 | Error opening Encoding Descriptor Definition file |
| 29 | Error reading Encoding Descriptor Definition file |
| 30 | Incomplete Encoding Descriptor Definition |
| 31 | Invalid modal escape sequence |
| 33 | Multi-thread serialization error |
| 34 | Memory allocation error |
| 35 | EDD Compile error. Invalid sequence of sections |
| 36 | Encoding Definition compilation failed |
| 37 | Invalid value for keyword |
| 38 | Subspace Dimensions Inconsistent |
| 39 | Unable to translate Encoding Descriptor Definition input line or unable to translate for output file processing |
| 40 | Invalid PVO passed to SPO allocate routine |
| 41 | Thread file resource failed |
| 42 | Write Buffer allocation failed |
| 43 | Actual fixed code point size to big |
| 44 | Logic error calculating relative char index |
| 45 | Logic error generating actual code point |
| 46 | Error reading a ECS object file |
| 47 | Logic error finding PTO to load |
| 48 | Allocated / read PTO is inconsistent EDD's PTO's out of sync |
| 49 | Relative to Character error: invalid relative index |
| 50 | Relative to Char error: out buffer overflow |
| 51 | EDD management logic error, expected entity not found |
| 52 | Bind utility object not found |
| 53 | Dangling PTO found |
| 54 | Character could not be converted to rel index |
| 55 | Translation buffer overflow. Truncation of non blank character |
| 56 | No thread local LBT available |
| 57 | Multi-thread Lock failed |
| 58 | Default translate objects not found |
| 59 | Bind statement syntax error in init file |
| 60 | Thread resource unavailable |
| 61 | Local objects present or already connected |
| 62 | Error when saving dynamic PTO: either UNICODE is source or target or I/O error |
| 63 | General character translation error |
| 64 | Invalid conversion handle |
| 65 | Handle capacity exceeded. |
| 66 | Runtime parameter could not be set |
| 101 | Invalid float field length |
| 102 | Warning - invalid flag or flags detected in RDA header |
| 103 | Invalid source floating point number |
| 104 | Warning - underflow occurred in float conversion |
| 106 | Warning - overflow occurred in the float conversion |
| 107 | Bad conversion parameters: source/destination encodings are equal or both UNICODE encodings |
| 108 | Multi-thread allocation error |
| 109 | Inline Work area allocation failed |
| 110 | Warning - truncation of nonblank characters |
| 111 | No DBCS PVO available |
| 112 | Bad untranslatable character |
| 113 | Bad fill character |
| 114 | DBCSONLY conversion of non-DBCS character |
| 115 | Non UNICODE character has no UNICODE PRECOMPOSED equivalent. Thus it cannot be decomposed. |
| 116 | Invalid modal fill. i.e., length > 0 but no room for mode change |
| 121 | Invalid integer field length |
| 166 | Runtime parameter could not be set |

Informational message showing the version and assembly date of the ADACOX module. |

| Explanation |
Informational message indicating that conversions from source to target will be done by ADACOX. |
| COX03I | ADACOX source to target count number AVG time (usec) |
| Explanation |
Informational message at session termination. This message is output only if ADACOX has performed conversions between source and target encodings. number shows the number of conversions and time the average time for conversion in microseconds. |
