This section provides an overview of the enhancements provided with Adabas Vista Version 8.2.
Both the CLOG API and the SYSAVI program AVICLOG now support additional keywords to clear the log area and display the data either newest-to-oldest or oldest-to-newest.

Note:
The new Unified Trace will ultimately replace AVICLOG. For the
current release AVICLOG remains supported, it will be removed at the next
release and fully replaced by the new Unified Tracing facility. See Adabas
System Coordinator 8.2.2 documentation for more information regarding Unified
Trace.
The fix display in SYSAVI has been enhanced to include a short description of each fix that is applied which helps you to get a better understanding of each fix that is in use.
