Setting Up the Entire Net-Work SMH Agents

This document explains how to install the required components and set up the Entire Net-Work Administration agents on the System Management Hub (SMH).


Step 1. Install the required Entire Net-Work 7 components.

The required Entire Net-Work Administration SMH agents and Software AG Directory Server (ADI) components are provided with Entire Net-Work Version 7 or Entire Net-Work Client. Therefore, if you do not already have a machine running SMH and ADI, use the Entire Net-Work 7 or Entire Net-Work Client installation CD to install them on a machine that can be accessed by your Entire Net-Work Administration 6.2 host node.

If you are using only the SMH agents and ADI components of Entire Net-Work 7 or Entire Net-Work Client, it is not necessary to install the entire product on the workstation. Using the Custom installation, you can install only the System Management Hub and Software AG Directory Server (ADI) components. Step 2. Add the Managed Entire Net-Work Node

Using the System Management Hub, add a managed node for Entire Net-Work Administration 5. For more information on doing this, read Adding a Managed Node.
