All nuclei of an ADASMP cluster must be migrated to Adabas Parallel Services version 7.5 at one time. The Adabas ADACNV utility must be used to convert Adabas internal structures and all PLOGs must be reformatted before the Adabas Parallel Services version 7.5 nucleus is started.
It is not possible for a nucleus running ADASMP to participate in an Adabas Parallel Services version 7.5 environment. And the reverse: it is not possible for an Adabas Parallel Services version 7.5 nucleus to run in an ADASMP environment.
However, it is possible to run an ADASMP cluster in parallel with the Adabas router (SVC) from version 7.4. To this end, the SMPSVC module from the Adabas 7.4.2 load library must be linked to the router (ADASVC) and zap AH713018 must be applied to the ADASMP library.
