Each Adabas Manager window is divided into two scrollable parts:
a tree-view on the left side of the screen
detail information (detail-view) on the right side of the screen
You can navigate in the tree-view as you would in any directory tree. When you highlight (click on) an item in the tree, the detailed information about that entry is displayed in detail-view. To expand items under a high-level entry in the tree, click on the plus sign (+) to the left of the high-level entry.
Note:
Tree items you are not authorized to view for security reasons are
not displayed; where menus are available for viewing but may not be modified,
the respective buttons are grayed out in the detail-view panels.
Once you have highlighted an item in the tree, context-specific commands are listed in the Commands dropdown list in the screen title bar.
You can also see these commands by right-clicking on the highlighted menu item. Only this option is described in the documentation, but both options are always available.
All items in the tree show a
option in their dropdown list.To refresh any item in the tree:
Select the item in the tree for which you want to view information and right-click on it (or view the Commands dropdown in the screen title bar).
Select
on the dropdown menu. The information displayed in the detail-view is updated.
