If you used Adabas Support for Multiprocessing (ADASMP), you are familiar
with the ADARUN parameter SMPID. This parameter has been
replaced with the more general NUCID parameter that
identifies nuclei for any type of Adabas cluster. You will need to make this
change; the SMPID parameter has been removed and is no
longer accepted.
The type of cluster as a Parallel Services cluster is identified by the
new ADARUN parameter CLUSTER=LOCAL.
Other ADARUN parameters needed for use with Adabas Parallel Services
begin with "CLU". In addition, the
CLOGMRG parameter can be used to control automated CLOG
merging across a cluster and the LRDP parameter can be
used to size a redo pool that is required if deferred caching is used
in the cluster environment.
All ADARUN parameters associated with Adabas cluster processing are documented in the Adabas Operations documentation.
