If you used Adabas Support for Multiprocessing (ADASMP), you are familiar
with the ADARUN parameter SMPID
. This parameter has been
replaced with the more general NUCID
parameter that
identifies nuclei for any type of Adabas cluster. You will need to make this
change; the SMPID
parameter has been removed and is no
longer accepted.
The type of cluster as a Parallel Services cluster is identified by the
new ADARUN parameter CLUSTER=LOCAL
.
Other ADARUN parameters needed for use with Adabas Parallel Services
begin with "CLU". In addition, the
CLOGMRG
parameter can be used to control automated CLOG
merging across a cluster and the LRDP
parameter can be
used to size a redo pool that is required if deferred caching is used
in the cluster environment.
All ADARUN parameters associated with Adabas cluster processing are documented in the Adabas Operations documentation.
