Version 6.3.1
 —  Adabas Administration  —

Terminal Server Support

You can install and run Adabas from a Terminal Server client session. To do this, you can connect to the corresponding Terminal Server and run the Adabas installation. If Adabas is already installed you can start Adabas databases, run DBA Workbench and the Adabas utilities. Care must be taken to ensure that a user does not start a database with the same database ID as a database that is already running on the Terminal Server. Please refer to the document Running Utilities as a Non-Administrator User, e.g. on a Terminal Server in the Installation Manual for further information about running a database as a service.

Note:
Databases can be started, accessed and stopped by all users connected to the Terminal Server and who have the appropriate user rights.
