The following new features have been added to Version 2.0 of Adabas Client for Java:
Adabas Client for Java now works in a z/OS CICS environment.
Adabas Client for Java delivers an Adabas Data Designer plugin for Eclipse.
Obsolete methods have been removed and various other methods have either been merged into one method or have been set to deprecated. In addition, Natural-like methods are introduced into the Adabas Client for Java API.
The RESTful server can now insert, update and read binary large objects.
The use of transactions has been reworked. The class
Transaction
is now obsolete. Instead, use a sequence of
different Request
classes to use transactions inside the
Adabas Client for Java API. An example has been added.
Various problems have been fixed with this version of Adabas Client for Java. For details, please refer to the README file provided with the product.
